What will you do?
As a Senior Associate, you will handle complex and challenging tax issues in acquisitions, restructurings, and refinancings, including:
- Tax guidance and coordination of M&A transactions, from (vendor) due diligence to tax structuring and SPA-related work.
- Tax structuring of (cross-border) financings and investments.
- Tax review of risks (specific tax insurance).
- General tax advisory services.
- Mentoring junior associates.
- Other initiatives to further your development or that of our firm, such as writing articles.
Most of the transactions have an international scope, requiring close collaboration with Taxand offices around the world. This makes working in our M&A team particularly dynamic and ensures frequent interaction with foreign colleagues.

Job requirements
Who are you?
- You have 5-10 years of experience in international tax advisory (M&A experience is a plus);
- You are a (prospective) member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB);
- You have excellent command of both Dutch and English;
- You are enthusiastic, stress-resistant, entrepreneurial, eager to learn, precise, analytically strong, and independent;
- You possess the right team spirit to help build our international tax practice with a young, ambitious, and entrepreneurial team.
